Old Mine Park - Geology Details

This map—created in 2019—was a collaborative effort between the State Geological Survey, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and the Geological Society of Connecticut. It is a modern scientific survey of the Park's geology, depicting bedrock units, mineralogy, geologic structures, and geochronology, with very detailed explanatory text as well as the locations of previous mining activity.
